My Tasks - Supplier Invoice - Review Supplier Invoice - PO Required

Users will receive a notification in their, "My Tasks" screen in Workday when an invoice arrives in the system that needs a purchase order.  These tasks are initiated by the Accounts Payable team because the invoice arrives without a valid Purchase Order noted on the invoice.  Action is required for the user locate an existing Purchase Order OR create a new, Confirming Requisition.  

My Tasks is in the top right of the screen in Workday and noted below.  Click the My Tasks icon:  



Next, click on the task on the left to populate the details on the right:  


RIGHT CLICK on the magnifying glass next to Supplier Invoice.  This will open the invoice screen so you can view the image and details.  




Search the system or connect with the appropriate team member to provide the correct purchase order number for the invoice.  If no purchase order exists for the invoice, a Confirming PO Requisition will need to be created and submitted.  Receipt must also be processed on the purchase order. 

Once the PO is located or created, navigate back to the task for the invoice and use the, "Send Back" option to provide the PO number to the AP Specialist so they can process the invoice:


Provide the full PO number in the Reason field and click submit.
